I made a new casserole tonight, called Classic Chicken Tetrazzini. It is very good-it is a pasta dish, but the recipe called for slivered almonds to be sprinkled over the top, along with some parmesan cheese. It created a yummy crunchy topping and I really like it! I've never added almonds to a pasta casserole before-at least not as far as I can recall.
I'm re-reading the book Two For the Dough, by Janet Evanovich. It is the second book in the Stephanie Plum series. I love the series. They are light and fun and perfect when you just want to relax and read and not think too hard.
