The end of last week and the beginning of this week have been very busy at work! The U.S. had converted to the ICD-10 coding system, as opposed to ICD-9. Lots of other countries have been using 10 for quite some time, but it was delayed for a few years by the government here. It is a lot more complicated, although I wouldn't necessarily say hard. So I have been scrambling to keep up as I familiarize myself with the new system, as well as cover for my coworker, who has been pulled to another department to train a new employee. I hope it calms down some pretty soon!

I made a new casserole tonight, called Classic Chicken Tetrazzini. It is very good-it is a pasta dish, but the recipe called for slivered almonds to be sprinkled over the top, along with some parmesan cheese. It created a yummy crunchy topping and I really like it! I've never added almonds to a pasta casserole before-at least not as far as I can recall.

I'm re-reading the book Two For the Dough, by Janet Evanovich. It is the second book in the Stephanie Plum series. I love the series. They are light and fun and perfect when you just want to relax and read and not think too hard.
